Emily Boswall Senior Classical Teacher
Emily started her training in Lincolnshire, England and at the age of sixteen accepted a place at The School Of Ballet Theatre UK to pursue her passion for ballet. After just one year of training she was asked to perform with the associate company and whilst in her final year was appointed head girl.
After graduating she joined the touring company, Ballet Theatre UK and shortly became a soloist dancer. A highlight of her time here was dancing the role of Dorothy for the company’s debut of The Wizard of Oz, a role which the artistic director Chrisptoper Moore created on her. During Covid, Emily managed to work in London at the Capitol Ballet Company, but shortly realised that she wanted to become a ballet teacher. In 2021, Emily started her journey with the RAD and whilst on their PDPTC course to become a certified RAD teacher she studied at The Staatsballett, Berlin. Emily adored teaching ballet to a range of students whilst in the UK and opened her own successful Pilates studio. Now she has pursued a new teaching adventure in Sydney!
Emily loves working for the NSW International Ballet Academy and is grateful that she can share her teaching and professional experience with the young students. The family oriented environment has been a breath of fresh air and the talent and enthusiasm in each class makes the NSW International Ballet Academy a fabulous place to work!
