Connor Barlow Senior Classical and Contemporary Teacher
Connor Barlow originally trained in Sydney from the age of 6. He then moved to London to attend the English National Ballet School in 2011 where he graduated with a Diploma in Professional Dance.
He worked with The English National Ballet before moving to Switzerland to dance as a soloist with the Bejart Ballet Lausanne. He performed his first Soloist role at 19 and his first Principal role at 21 In Brussels, headlining Beethoven’s 9th symphony with the Tokyo Ballet.
At 23 he had his first ballet choreographed on him titled ‘Éclats’ by Julio Arozarena which debuted in the Beaulieu Theatre de Lausanne in 2018.
Other highlights from his professional career include guesting with the Bolshoi Ballet, Tokyo Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet and The Mariinsky Theatre. Dancing numerous principal roles for Maurice Bejart and Gil Roman and performing in many classical galas across Europe. He toured the world extensively, performing in over 30 countries through Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Connor is excited to be joining the faculty of the NSW International Ballet Academy to help train the next generation of artists.
