Hannah Conlon Senior Ballet and Contemporary Teacher

Hannah began training with us at 4 years old and then progressed into our full-time program until she was 17. After completing her Advanced 2 exam, she travelled to Belgium to compete in the Genee International Ballet Competition. Soon after, she accepted her position at The University of Music and Performing Arts – Ballet Academy in Munich, starting directly into the 2nd year.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and began her career at The Bavarian State Ballet Junior Company. During this time, she performed throughout Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Poland whilst performing alongside the Bavarian State Ballet. Her career highlights there included Christopher Wheeldons’ ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ ‘Paquita pas de six’ by Alexei Ratmansky, ‘Um Ballo’ by Jiri Kylian, ‘Nonett’ by Azsure Barton, and ‘Individuelle’ by Peter Leong. During this time, she also completed her Master-Diploma in Dance.

In 2019, Hannah began working at Theater Magdeburg, where she continued to expand her classical, modern dance and musical theatre repertoire, working with many renowned choreographers and directors from worldwide. Her most memorable productions include Les Scare du Printemps, La Fille mal Gardeer, Dracula, The Nutcracker, and Mahler 4.

After eight years away from home, she is thrilled to return to the NSW International Ballet Academy and to share her passion and knowledge of this beautiful art form with the next generation of dancers.
